A passion for writing has been with me for a long time. In fact, the foundation for it began in my childhood with reading. A love for reading grew into a love for writing.
Before I attended my first day of kindergarten class, I knew how to read. Mom made sure of it. She spent hours teaching me phonics, pronunciation and vocabulary. One of her legacies to me is a love for reading.
As I reached adulthood, writing became a love and a passion- whether it be writing a book, blogging, making a really cool youth flyer or newsletter, even a goofy notice for work, it didn’t matter. Writing is writing. Adding fuel to the fire, my mother in law encouraged me to write and told me books were no good if they were just an idea inside my head, so get busy! And my big sis, also a writer, told me, “Ernie, writers write.”
And so I write.
And since I always wanted to write a fictional book, the pandemic offered a great opportunity to try my hand at an adventure/action book. So I took an idea I had been thinking about for years and turned it into a book, Cold Fuze, Inc.
And now I’m back. And writers write, so here I am.
