I’m retooling the erniebergan.com web site for 2026. You understand, new year, new things. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m excited about where it’s going. I’ve reformatted some of my blog categories and freshened up the overall site look as well. I’ve added new content and more is on the way. I’m excited about the new year and what that will mean for erniebergan.com.
I plan on writing quite a bit in the new year and will blog and slog my way forward. I’d love for you to join me on the journey! My blog categories have been shuffled to feature three, all three categories relate to my world- Humor, E-vents and Technical Training. You can find a list of all categories at the bottom of this page.
Humor is my way of letting off steam and is my attempt to bring a little laughter to the grim world in which we live. Dark times need light and the best way to light it up is to lighten up with a smile, IMO. Smiles brighten the journey. And after all, I do consider myself a dad joke specialist!
E-vents are just all-around general stuff I write about life and culture. Observations and experiences that I think are worthy of being passed along. I’m aware that I’m not really being asked my opinion about most things, it’s true, but I still want to weigh in on current issues from time to time. E-vents is my platform to do so.
Here’s an example: an upcoming E-vent may be dedicated to critical thinking, something in short supply today. I’m listening to a great audible book on the topic and who knows? Some of it may spill out in upcoming blogs. It could happen. I will re-promise not to get political. There are plenty of forums for that and it gets too heavy too fast, in my opinion. I’m practicing mom’s philosophy of keeping politics and religion to myself these days.
Technical Training is the pool I swim in, so from time to time I may start a game of Marco Polo and play around with my latest thoughts on what it means to live in the Technical Trainer world. I have many ideas and thoughts on this topic and I’m working at creating meaningful content in this area even as I write. More coming soon, I promise!
And in the background, I’m writing more books-I’ve finished several for my grandkids and will be dipping my pen in ink to write more fiction in the coming year. Yes! So lot’s going on, it’s going to be a good year, and I welcome you to join me as I go.
