Well, summer is here. I know this because it’s Memorial Day. Kind of the traditional start to summer day for a lot of us. But it’s more than that and it’s more than an ordinary holiday.
It’s a day to appreciate and honor those in the American Military that have made the ultimate sacrifice to make this nation free. I like to go to Memorial services and remember, how about you? Happy Memorial Day!
It’s nice to have a day off to relax and reflect. I’m enjoying life in Texas and I hope wherever you are, you are enjoying life as well. I haven’t mentioned the cats in a while, so I’m going to take this opportunity to send greetings from my kitties.
Mushu and Mulan are doing great. They have transitioned from a Buckeye life to a Lone Star life, LOL! They are hanging out in Texas these days and if I’m not mistaken, their purr has a little bit of a drawl these days.
I’m working on some new writing projects and I’m excited to put some ideas and thoughts down this summer. I’ve got a new book mapped out and I’m starting to write. It feels good. Anyway, happy Memorial Day to you and your loved ones!
